Data collection activity in Poland

Data collection activity in Poland

Katarzyna Cichomska (University of Leeds), Aleksandra Karbownik (Maritime Office Gdynia) and colleagues from the Polish Naval Academy met in Gdynia on the 31st of May to discuss the data collection activities carried out on the Stena ferry and terminal in Poland.

The activities, conducted by Maritime Office Gdynia and the Polish Naval Academy, included observations of crowd movement in the terminal and in various key locations on the ship, interviews with members of the crew and surveys of security and safety personnel.

IMPACT measures developed in WP1 were used for this purpose in order to allow comparisons across different countries and transport hubs. The data from these activities will be analysed and described in the next project deliverable.
